Vintage Team Road Kill T-Shirt | 1985 Twin Cities Bike Club

Here we have a rare vintage bicycle club shirt from the Team Road Kill bike club based in the Twin Cities. Well, this one gets right to the point. What an image we have right over your heart. Poor raccoon. And there is lays, right in the midst of the streetwear Big Bang explosion, 1985. The image is signed "'85 KAJ". The artist is still a mystery to me. I assume he/she was in the thick of the Twin Cities street art scene of the 80s.

The Team Road Kill club has been around for over 35 years. The rare vintage shirt was produced early in the club's existence. Here is the mission statement or philosophy of this Twin Cities bicycle institution courtesy of their website

"We are the Kill, a Twin Cities based bike club. Our Mission is to encourage and increase social and recreational bike riding."

The vintage bike shirt has no size tag. It's likely in the Small to Medium range. Here are the actual measurements:

- Pit to pit - 17"
- Collar to bottom hem - 25"
- Sleeve length - 7"

The rare t-shirt has a few areas of discoloration. The upper right sleeve has an oval shaped discoloration (see pic). Below the graphic there are dark speckles on both the right and left sides. The same phenomenon is happening to the right of the "Team Road Kill" graphic on the back. The shirt is very soft as well. Please see all pics as they are part of the description.

I ship FedEx to street addresses in the continental USA only (no PO boxes). If in the Twin Cities area, I can deliver. Free shipping on the rare streetwear shirt.

I'm afraid to say the raccoon didn't make it, but the club's on its way to 40 years. Hit the pavement.
