Vintage Red Wing Shoes Store Display Wood Sign | 1960s
Here we have a rare vintage Red Wing Shoes wood sign used as a store display. As you can see, Red Wings are perfect for anything, including a serious game of tug-a-war with the landscape. The dude's on the verge of pulling down a mountain. He's dug in and ready for the long haul. Red Wings do it all, and the sign says it all.
I was told the wood sign is likely from the 1960s and was used for displaying shoe laces or something along those lines in a local Red Wing store. The images of the outdoorsmen are printed on the wood surface (see pics).
The rare wood sign measures just under 23" wide, 11" tall, and about 3 1/2" deep, including the pegs. The wood is about 1 3/4" deep. There is perfect patina and wear everywhere, including scrapes, bruises and a divots, especially in the dude's knee (see pic). The sign's as tough as your Red Wings. The pegs are solid. The wood is on the lighter side. Please see all pics as they are part of the description.
I ship FedEx to street addresses in the continental USA only (no PO boxes please). Free shipping on the rare store display.
If you're wondering why people flip over Red Wing boots, look no further. Brut force and a job well done. Next.
