Vintage Nude Painting of African American Woman by Ozni Brown |1960s
Here we have a stunning nude portrait painting of an African American woman by listed illustrator artist Ozni Brown. I'm not a dedicated follower of fashion but the short hair on this beautiful woman is all the rage, and then some. Then you throw in the fact that the artist painted many scenes for the True Detective magazine. Unreal.
The vintage illustration painting comes out of the estate for Ozni Brown, who lived and worked in Minneapolis. Here are the notes on the reverse:
Painted by commercial & magazine publication artist Ozni Brown in the early 1960s. Brown was a skilled and prolific cover and article artist for True Detective and True Crime Detective magazine, as well as others. Fine Study in oil, unsigned.
The unframed nude oil on board measures 16" x 12". The board is slightly curved inward. Please see all pics as they are part of the description.
I ship FedEx to street addresses in the continental USA only (no PO boxes please). Free shipping on the nude artwork.
it's easy to set your eyes on this beauty. What a study.
