Here we have a vintage motorcycle road racing shirt straight out to the Twin Cities, circa 1982. This one's all about the killer graphics, both on the front and reverse. I mean, the eyeballs peering out of the darkness of the racing helmet....case closed. This will be the first thing mentioned by any passerby. And let's be clear, it's in moments like these where I curse the fact that I where an XL. You'd be the passerby if it was an XL. Ugh.
The rare vintage t-shirt was produced by the Central Road Racing Association, also known as CRA. The organization has been around since the 1970s. Check out their
website. The design has an illegible signature, but I can make out "82".
The vintage Stedman label states that this is a size Medium. Here are the actual measurements:
- 17" pit to pit
- 25 1/2" collar to bottom hem
- 7 1/2" sleeve length
The CRA t-shirt is a soft one. There is slight discoloration in the pits. Near the left armpit there is a small black mark. Please see all pics as they are part of the description.
