Here we have a cool set of rare vintage wall hangings from an art exhibition on Mississippi River photography from 1976. You'll need some wall space for these hangings, as they each clock in at 60" tall and 15" wide. They pop like popcorn.
The title of the exhibition was "The River: Images of the Mississippi." The pieces were designed by James E. Johnson, who was a graphic designer for the Walker Arts Center back in the day.
Here is the official program from the exhibition,
The rare wall art hangings measure 60" tall and 15" wide. They are made out of some type of plastic or polycarbonate material (see pics). There are loops at the top in order to hang from a curtain rod. The pieces show their age. There are scrapes, wear, wrinkles, and a few stains, some of which may be removable given the material. I'll leave that up to you. The bottom corners are bending a bit as well. Please see all pics as they are part of the description.
I ship to the continental USA only. The hangings will be sent rolled in a poster tube. Free shipping on the hangings.
Imagine waking up to these colors every morning. It's gonna be a beautiful day on the Mississippi. Don't miss out.
