Vintage Industrial Light Fixtures with Black Shades from early 1900s

Here we have a pair of antique industrial light fixtures with jet black shades and patina everywhere. The room these were hanging in back in the day was the place to be, and you likely needed to sneak in the back door. Imagine the black fixtures on either side of something wicked. I can! The fixtures may have lit questionably legal activities but I'm sure fun was had by all.

Normally I walk right by old light fixtures. I couldn't walk past the black shades. They're nicked up, with even a few spots of old blue paint. They're screaming to come back to life. Even without wiring or electricity these things are screaming.

The accent fixtures were found in southern Minnesota. See above for my guess of the actual origins.

The vintage fixtures measure 14 1/2" fully extended from the base to the end of the shade. They'll need new wiring. The hanging on/off switches is an interesting bonus. Not sure what's going on there. As stated above, there's patina everywhere, including scuffs, wear, and paint. One for fasteners is detached (see pic). Some metal manipulation may be needed there. The fixtures are sold AS IS....they need you to finish the race and bring them back to life. Please see all pics as they are part of the description.

I ship to the continental USA only. Free shipping on the fixtures.

Not your usual antique lighting fair. Then again, you're not the usual accent lighting maestro. Bring these bad boys back to their underground glory.
