Vintage Machinist Clamp Light with Unique Bracket | 1940s

Here we have a vintage industrial gooseneck machinist light with all the contortions you hope for. There a couple things that moves this one to the leader of the wolf pack.

1) The extra metal clamp bracket: Since this came out of a old machinist shop in Minnesota, I'm sure this was an "in-shop" fitting. It sits at the coolest angle, which gives it a mean edge.

2) The lamp shade knuckle: Nothing an extra contortion. The ball knuckles are harder to find, and impossible to top. Tilt that head!

3) The patina: You can't fake years of machinist patina. It's tore up to perfection.

I think the industrial light was produced in the 40s, but it might earlier. If you're looking for authenticity, this one's fought all the battles and still walks away.

The machinist lamp measures 24 1/2" fully extended. The gooseneck measures about 16". The shade measures 6 1/2" in diameter. As stated above, there is years of machinist patina everywhere, including the inside of the shade. It's straight out of the wasteland of Mad Max. The light was rewired with a cloth wire and vintage style plug. It works fine and its got plenty of use from me. As always, it's a good idea to perform your own inspection. Please see all pics as they are part of the description.

I ship to the continental USA only. Free shipping on the light.

Think of the contortions, whether you're lighting you're shop or that masterpiece on the wall. This bad boy won't be denied. He'll add a level of industrial decor edginess to any space.
