Vintage Gorilla Head Sculpture from 1970s Seattle Art Scene
Here we have a handsome devil straight from the 1970s Seattle art scene. It's an art sculpture of a gorilla head with all the funky angles and nuances to keep you coming back for more. He's aerodynamic like a sweet Lamborghini. And his mood will set the party. Who wouldn't with those super sunken eye sockets!
The vintage sculpture has the coolest patina. This fella has a wicked diagonal scar across his top skull, and a scar coming down from his left eye. He's also got a few chips on his nose and across his lower lip. Evidence of the knuckle bustin' of his wild days.
The artist is a mystery to me. I can't find a signature anywhere. It might be a student piece.
The art sculpture stands 5 1/2" tall, 4 1/2" wide, and 6" deep. There is patina everywhere, including scars, scrapes, and discoloration. The bottom has faded blue carpet. It has a some good weight to it. Please see all pics as they are part of the description.
I ship to the continental USA only. Free shipping on the gorilla sculpture.
