Here we have a vintage folk art mace with every industrial design element you could ask for. No home is complete without this quaint little decor piece. It will bring a sense of calm to any room in the house, and a smile to every face. I'd avoid playing catch with it in the back yard. It won't go well. Smokin...
The unusual artwork was found in an old Chicago estate. At that point I stopped asking questions...
The medieval mace is comprised of a wood (spindle?) ball, with old metal spikes inserted. possibly old drill bits. It's topped off with an old chain and ceiling screw. My guess is it's from the 50s, but it could be earlier.
The vintage folk art piece measures about 3 1/2" tall, and about 4" wide and deep. The chain measure about 10 1/2". There is a spike missing (see pics). I really don't want to think about where it might be...yikes. Please see all pics as they are part of the description.
I ship to the continental USA only. Free shipping on this little gem.
Who's ready for a party? It's not a disco ball, but it'll get'em talking. Don't miss out.
