Vintage Charcoal Drawing of Dude Posing with a Hammer | 1960s
Regular priceSale price
Here we have vintage charcoal drawing of a dude at work, pausing to pose with his hammer. Don't be modest, Buddy. Reminds me of one of the chain gang in "Cool Hand Luke." Scruffy, scruffy dude. No time to comb the hair. Not your typical image.
The rare artwork came out of an art collector's estate in Chicago. The piece is signed "E. Simon." The artist is still a mystery to me. With the other strange markings, I wonder if we as an illustrator. The previous owner believes the artwork was created in the 1960s. This is just a guess though.
The framed unusual vintage artwork measures 20 1/2" tall, 13" wide, and 3/4" deep. The artwork has light patina throughout. The silver frame is solid and shows a bit of wear as well. Please see all pics as they are part of the description.
I ship FedEx to street addresses in the continental USA only (no PO boxes). Free shipping on the unusual industrial artwork.
It's hammer time. You know it. I know it. Book it.
