Here we have a haunting abstract oil painting from the New York 60s art scene. I can't get over the mix of master execution, mystery, and dread. This vintage modernist artwork is a kicker, and the paint is thicker. The artwork is signed with a monogram and dated '62. Since the monogram is basically an "H", tracking down the mystery artist has been a chore.
The framed abstract painting measures 31" x 26". On the reverse there is writing: "Standard Abstract (illegible) #31491". The piece was framed at the Gil Golde gallery in Great Neck New York. The vintage painting is on canvas board. The frame has some losses and overall patina. Please see all pics as they are part of the description.
I ship to the continental USA only. Free shipping on the painting.
What a tangled web we weave...Don't miss out. This one's from the crazy underground New York art world of the 1960s. It will haunt you.
