Here we have a cool felt fedora made by the Scott Limited company in New York, circa 1950. It's got the makeup and history to hit you with a left hook of sophistication and a quick right hook of attitude. Make a path for the man or woman who wears this bad boy. It don't take no mess.
The dapper hat was found in an old estate in Minneapolis. Make no mistake about it. There were some shifty glances occurring right underneath the brim of this hat, likely on an hourly basis. This gangster hat was in the game for a long time.
The size tag is missing. It measured just under 21 1/2" around the inner brim. I'm guessing it's a 7 1/8 size hat. It's got great evidence of wear throughout. There are minor moisture stains along the outer and inner brim. The ribbon is faded in some places. It's been in the game. Please see all pics as they are part of the description.
