Here we have a rare Ramones poster for the Amsterdam show on their European tour in 1987. Another day, another rare Ramones poster from Europe....yeah, I have more but I'm a fan. Anyways, the white background and the hazy outlines of the four horseman makes for a killer look. Top it off with the blue block "Ramones", and you have one rare jewel making punk rock statement. God bless the Ramones.
This is a rare poster of the unicorn kind. I found one other copy of the poster at the International Institute of Social History. The graphic designer is likely Max Kisman, who is a topography and design guru.
Combine three decades with the hardcore punk rock lifestyle, and this thing turns out to be a living miracle. The rare poster came out of a rock poster collection in Minnesota.
The poster is housed with a foam backing and plaster seal wrap. The entire piece measures about 25" tall and 17 1/2" wide. The actual poster measures 24" x 17". The poster is in used, vintage condition. There are are a few wrinkles throughout, especially in the bottom right corner. There are some slight discoloration spots along the edges.
