Rare History and Story of Paper Making Pamphlet | WPA Artisan Book
Here we have a rare promotional pamphlet titled "The History and Story of Paper Making: An Industrial Romance". This WPA style book was produced around 1930 by the Roycrofters for the Kalamazoo Vegetable Parchment Co, who made quality and specialty papers. The cover will get anybody to dig into the pages between. They go into everything, from the history of the practice to black and white photos of all the methods and machinery of the depression era industry. It's a cool and unusual view of an artisan practice that is coming back in force. This book will get you back in business!
