Rare 1980s Grateful Dead Parking Lot T Shirt | Minneapolis
Here we have a rare Grateful Head parking lot t-shirt with a wild cartoon design of Jerry Garcia driving in a convertible with Calvin & Hobbes. There are also appearances by the Bloom County penguin as well as other characters, some of which are writing graffiti on the concrete walls. Typical! There's nothing like the amazing Deadhead underworld art, and what you're seeing here is an authentic original design sold in the parking lot of the show in Minneapolis in 1988. Folk art clothing at its legendary finest.
The rare Deadhead shirt was acquired from the original owner who stated that he followed throughout the 70s and 80s. He purchased this beauty at the Dead show in Minneapolis in 1988. The shirt isn't signed so we're dealing with a mystery artist.
On the reverse you see a cool explosive font stating "I'm Gonna Wait Till The Midnight Hour! at the Met Center Minnesota Mission June 17th, 1988."
The rare vintage Grateful Dead rock shirt has the following measurements:
25" from collar to bottom hem 19" from pit to pit
The rare Twin Cities shirt was used and worn to perfection. There are holes in a few places, including in the upper and lower reverse. Please see all pics as they are part of the description.
I ship FedEx to street addresses in the continental USA only (no PO Boxes). Free shipping on the rare Grateful Dead concert shirt.
