Rare 1980s Grateful Dead Parking Lot T Shirt | Dark Star

Regular price $300.00

Here we have a rare tie dye Grateful Head parking lot t-shirt with a wild "Rid to the Dark Star" design on the reverse. There's nothing like the amazing Deadhead underworld art, and what you're seeing here is an authentic original design sold in the parking lot of the show. Not sure which design I like better. The burnt out skeleton on the front, or the wild Dark Star design on the reverse. Both are cryptic, striking designs. Folk art clothing at its legendary finest.

The rare Deadhead shirt was acquired from the original owner who stated that he followed throughout the 70s and 80s. He purchased this beauty at a Red Rocks show in the early 80s. The shirt isn't signed so we're dealing with a mystery artist.

On the reverse you see a funky scene of a high astronaut posting a sign reading "Ride Wanted to the Dark Star."

The rare vintage Grateful Dead rock shirt has the following measurements:

23" from collar to bottom hem
18" from pit to pit
8 1/2" collar

The rare tie dye shirt was used and worn to perfection. There are holes in a few places, including in the bottom center and bottom right. Please see all pics as they are part of the description.

I ship FedEx to street addresses in the continental USA only (no PO Boxes). Free shipping on the rare Grateful Dead concert shirt.

Dark Star! Nothing's better than the underground art. Never seen another one.
