Original Pink Flamingos Mini Poster from 1973 | 11 x 17
Here we have an original mini poster of the notorious underground film "Pink Flamingos." The tagline states "An Exercise in Poor Taste", and I believe every word. A marathon of poor taste, and a date with underground cinema infamy. I remember the first "Cult Film" section I ever saw at a video store. They did the Top 50.....guess which flick was #1? Yep, this floored the few people who saw it when it came out in 1973. Almost 50 years later, it's still knocking people out.
The rare promotional poster was part of a limited run when the movie was first released in 1973. They used them in the few theaters where it was showing. This one looks unused, and I see no evidence of a fold crease.
The vintage music poster came out of the estate of Minnesota artist John Beauchamp. He not only was an amazing artist, but he collected some of the best items around, including art and music.
The Pink Flamingos poster measures 17" x 11". The poster is housed in a plastic wrap with a foam backing. The bottom corners each took a small whammy. The poster hasn't been viewed outside of the protective plastic. Please see all pics as they are part of the description.
