Nicholas Mocharnuk Wood Sculpture of Voluptuous Woman | 1940s
Here we have a unusual folk art wood sculpture of a voluptuous woman by folk artist Nicholas "Nimo" Mocharnuk (b. 1917, Russian). She stole my heart as soon as I as set my eyes on her. She'll get you too! Guaranteed. The artist signed the piece "Nimo" on the reverse...but, of course. She'll light up a room, even though she's just over 6" tall. Just be ready for the sirens. Smokin!
The rare sculpture comes out of a serious folk art collector's estate in Iowa. The piece was created in the 1940s.
The sculpture stands 6 1/2" tall, 2 1/2" wide and 2" deep. There is surface patina throughout the piece. There is thin crack on the bottom. No harm at all, she's solid! Please see all pics as they are part of the description.
I ship FedEx to street addresses only (no PO Boxes). Free shipping on the rare folk art sculpture.
