Here we have a rare and iconic piece of Machine Age industrial decor. It's a copper or brass baby doll head in a production frame made of rusty steel, topped off with melted eyes and the creepiest look this side of the Mississippi. Who needs the sound of the ocean when you can have this little fella sit in your corner and rock you to sleep? Man, if those kids had any idea the origins of their play dolls. That's some tough sledding. So many things are so wrong, which makes the ensemble so right and perfect for your essential creepy decor. I've looked everywhere and I can't find an example with melted eyes, which gives me slight comfort.

The rare Steampunk artifact comes out of an old Chicago factory, and likely dates around the 1940s, if not earlier.

The rusty production rack measures about 7" tall, 6" wide and 6" deep. The machine age piece is very solid, and completely horrifying. There is patina from age everywhere. It looks the part in every way possible. It also has some good weight to it. I'm not sure if the head is made of copper or brass. It doesn't magnetize. Please see all pics as they are part of the description.

I ship FedEx to street addresses in the continental USA only (no PO boxes). Free shipping on the underground Steampunk antique.
