Here we have a stunning set of seven hand painted panels depicting the Stations of the Cross. They are intense, and they are huge. If you're into original paintings, you'll cover an entire wall with these beauties. There is detail everywhere, and a world full of pain and salvation. The faces of the perpetrators don't shy away from the rage. The Christ figure stood through and through.
The set contains seven of the twelve paintings representing the stations. The art board panels came out of storage in a church in Minnesota. I'm not sure about their age but I'm guessing 60's or 70's. The reverse tag is marked "Durapan."
The vintage panels each measure 33" x 26". There is light patina throughout. There are losses along the edges, especially a few of the corners. The art boards have some weight to them, and they have a slight bend inward.
