Grateful Dead Illustration of Stanley Mouse Scene of Jester | 1980s
Here we have a cool illustration of a Stanley Mouse scene produced for the Grateful Dead. I believe this fella is known as The Jester. I can confirm that he has a sweet flow of green hair, and I"m a fan of the sunglasses. The 3D floor panels are a killer touch as well.
The Grateful Dead illustration was found in a Twin Cities collection of artwork from the 70s and 80s, The artwork is not signed anywhere. We have a mystery artist on our hands. I believe the illustration was executed in the 1980s.
The unframed rock art measures 11" tall by 9" wide. In the top left corner you can see the artist sketched out some more ideas to add to the image. There is a light patina throughout the piece, including some rounded edges. Please see all pics as they are part of the description.
I ship FedEx to street addresses in the continental USA only (no PO boxes). Free shipping on the Dead illustration.
