Edgar Brandt Style Table Lamp Base | 1920s Deco Design

Here we have an ornate Edgar Brandt style wrought iron lamp base with a rare design. I'm quite sure the soccer balls sitting atop the base design is not of the common nature (see the pics). I can't find another containing these unusual cherries on top. Ornate doesn't really live up to the wrought iron design. This super detailed, slick, and industrial lamp base will draw even the most discerning eyes. So when you finish up the top with the shade of your choice, you'll be the rage...more so.

The unusual deco lamp base came out of a Twin Cities estate. I believe it was made in the early 1900s, likely the heart of the 1920s. I can't find a signature anywhere. The artist or foundry is a mystery. I do know they shot for the moon, and went over it.

The antique lamp base measures 13 1/2" tall and the diameter of the base measures 6 1/2". There is perfect patina throughout the base. I see no losses on the lamp. Please see all pics as they are part of the description.
