Here we have a large vintage Brutalist art pottery jar with the lid. This one slices and dices. This was a time consuming (borderline neurotic) artist vision to come to fruition. The jagged patterns are plentiful and the glaze is thick as thieves. I can't find a signature anywhere. The artist is a mystery to me. My guess is this piece was made in the 1970s. Purely a guess.
The piece stands 10.25" tall X 6" wide with the lid. The rim of the jar is about 9" tall. The lid fits better on the jar with a certain angle. Definitely an art piece and not a manufactured piece. Please see all pics as they are part of the description.
I ship to the continental USA only. Free shipping on the piece.
Don't stick your hand in this cookie jar. It's mean and unforgiving. Don't miss out.
