Here we have an antique tintype photograph of a gent dressed to the 9's and smoking a fat stogy. He's about ready to hit the town, or rob it. Either way, you'll be able to track him down by the smell of his sweet, pungent tobacco.
I love how his hairline parts like Mose parting the Red Sea. Whatever you do buddy, don't smile. Don't you do it! Stoic as a statue of ill persuasion.
The unusual tintype came out of a large collection in Wisconsin. (Tobacciana anyone?)The woman gathered most of her collection from estate sales, so the tintype likely originates in Wisconsin or at least the Midwest, I'm guessing the tintype if from the late 1800s.
The antique photograph measures 3 1/2" tall and 2 1/2" wide. The two left corners are snipped. There is wear everywhere, including nicks and scratches. There is also a stain in the top left corner. Please see all pics as they are part of the description.
I ship to the continental USA only. Free shipping on the tintype.
