Here we have a killer real photo postcard (RPPC) of a crew of gambling dudes in early workwear. The scene is right in the middle of a move that will fleece one of these poor souls. I'm guessing it's the dude without the card ready to slam. Yeah, he's chum in the water. The hidden gem in this image is the sliver dollars, propped up in one of the grooves. A picture says a thousand words, and this says I'm not gonna make the rent this month. And for all you workwear freaks out there, they're decked to the 9s, even if they're topping it off with some killer uptown hats.
The rare postcard was produced at the turn of the century, likely the early 1900s. It comes out of a Minneapolis collection of old, weird items. Check please!
The old gambling postcard measures 5 1/2" wide by 3 1/2" tall. There are creases in several spots, especially across the corners. On the reverse there is graphite doodles(?). It certainly doesn't convey a message in the slightest. Please see all pics as they are part of the description.
I ship FedEx to street addresses in the continental USA only (no PO boxes). The postcard will be shipped in a hard plastic sleeve. Free shipping on the gambling workwear treasure.
Light'em up boys. They may be only thing left in your pockets by nightfall.
