Antique Free Masons Register Book from 19th Century - Royal Arch

Here we have a rare Masonic Lodge register book from the 19th century. This one is a beauty, complete with old heavy ink and a mysterious history. The antique Masons book comes from the Minnesota Royal Arch Chapter, No. 1, covering the years 1878 - 1951. The inkwell ink in the first part of the register is a great touch. If only this little gem could talk. But we all know the first rule of Fight Club...

I can't help but think this is a perfect beginning of a haunting thriller film: The large book that survived the flood to tell a few tales. Mystery is found everywhere in this one.

The Masonic register book comes out of a Minneapolis estate of an old antique dealer. Not sure the history before that. You can fill in the blanks to your heart's content.

Each page contains the Date, Name of Visitor, Name of Chapter, Number of Chapter, Sates and Remarks. It's clear people from all over the US visited this chapter. Interesting stuff. Here is a link to more info about the Minnesota chapter.

The rare Masonic memorabilia measures 16" tall, 10 1/2" wide and about 1 1/2" deep. The book has some good weight to it. About 1/3 of the pages contain 83 years of registrations. The rest of the pages are blank. As you can see from the pics, the book sustained significant water damage to the bottom, to the point where the pages and cover warped upwards. The binding is pretty loose but the cover still holds everything together. Please see all pics as they are part of the description.

I ship to the continental USA only. Free shipping on this rare piece of Masonic history.

A lot of history in this book, and a lot of visitors from all over the US.
