Here we have a pair of old silver gelatin print photographs of a crashed Model T. Well, it's safe to say this bad boy zigged when it should've zagged. That front end is torched, and the glass in the windshield frame is a distant memory. You have to hand it to the old-timers. When you're going on a convertible ride, you're putting it all out there. Such an unusual set of antique photos. Not sure who had the luxury to produce two 8 x 10 gelatin prints on a crashed car, but we're lucky enough to have them sitting in front of us. Imagine these beauties framed, side by side, sitting on your wall. Seriously, it will be way better than you think.
The photographs were taken in 1918 per the notes on the reverse. They came out of an old Twin Cities estate.
The antique automotive photographs measure just under 10" wide by 8" tall. They both show evidence of handling and storage wear throughout, including surface scuffs and a few small losses in the corners. Both photographs are curling in slightly. Please see all pics as they are part of the description.
I ship FedEx to street addresses in the continental USA only (no PO Boxes). Free shipping on the rare automotive photographs.
Everybody peers at a car wreck. They can't help it. This will be no different.
