Here we an antique brass horse medallion/pendant with a statement to make. The horse head is embossed, and a total boss. Check out the scowling eyebrows on this fella. He's a wild stallion with a couple wild years ahead of him. I'm sure he had the record for the quickest disqualification from the Kentucky Derby.
I believe the piece is brass since it doesn't magnetize. The piece was found in an old collector's estate in Southern Minnesota amongst many collectible items from the early 20th century. My guess if the pendant was created in the 1930s.
The equestrian collectible measures 1 1/2" tall and just shy of 1 1/2" wide. The embossed horse head rises about 1/4". The piece has great patina throughout. There's a prominent discoloration just below his mouth (see pic). Please see all pics as they are part of the description.
I ship to the continental USA only. Free shipping on the pendant.
May your horses run free...this one runs wild, angry and free. Don't miss out.
