Antique Blackthorn Shillelagh Walking Stick Cane | Early 1900s

Here we have a antique Blackthorn Shillelagh walking cane with one of the smoothest surfaces I've ever seen. Thorns are everywhere on the shaft of this Irish walking stick, and topped with a brass ferrule. The rare cane has a cool, slick finish throughout. I'm stunned at the condition of this beauty. "Gorgeous" is the word the comes to mind. I'm lost on the maker but I'll put money on it they are highly skilled.

The vintage cane came out of a Twin Cities collector's estate containing many antique and folk art walking sticks. My guess is the stick was made sometime in the early 1900s but I can't confirm it.

The cane measures just under 36" and a little less than 3/4" thick, on average. The top handle measures about 1" wide. The folk art piece is quite light. There is a little general wear throughout. The brass ferrule has a bit of corrosion from age (see pic). Please see all pics as they are part of the description.

I ship FedEx to street addresses in the continental USA only (no PO boxes). Free shipping on the walking stick.
