Here we have a rare and unusual antique Billy Club cane with a 14 carat gold band to class it up a bit. It's should be the first thing you should think of for all your self defense needs, especially since they are as rare as hen's teeth. The first time I held this bruiser I couldn't believe the density of the wood, which would send any attacker running for the hills. Seriously, this piece has lived a life in the fast lane of the demolition derby. If you don't believe me, take a look at the patina "marks"....six inches of the top section, and six inches of the bottom section. Feel free to visualize acquiring that patina. If this rare unicorn could talk, every other word would be bleeped....maybe even with an English accent. The Sex Pistols great grandparents!
The unusual antique cane comes out of a large Twin Cities estate of rare, high end walking canes from the late 19th century and early 20th century. I believe this beauty is from the late 19th century. My guess for the wood type is very dense rosewood. Not sure though.
The rare cane measures 32" tall and just under 1" diameter at the top. As stated above, the story of this stick is all in the patina, which it has at differing levels throughout. But make no mistake about it. I would not want to be on the other end of this magic wand. The gold band is marked "14 Kt GOLD FILLED". The band can turn in the groove. The ferrule at the bottom of the cane is missing. Please see all pics as they are part of the description.
I ship FedEx to street addresses in the continental USA only (no PO Boxes). Free shipping on the unusual antique cane.
