Here we have a wicked pair of Gokey Botte Sauvage leather motorcycle boots from the 1950s (possibly the 40s). These rare engineering boots have the hand sewn blue label and patina up to the knees. The killer wear, especially surrounding those buckles, will get anyone's blood pumping. The wear is producing a snakeskin look towards the tops, for Pete's sake. These things are tougher than a coffin nail.
I still haven't figured out the size stamps on the inside. The boots measure 11" from back sole to front. The boots are about 10" tall. My guess is the boots are a size 10.5 -11. The boots are 4" wide across the front foot. If you know the Gokey code, feel free to let me know. The soles are old Gro-Cord beasts. Still some meat on the bone.
The boots come out of an old estate in rural Minnesota. If you don't these boots lived it, check the pics again.
The rare engineering boots have wear everywhere. There are cracks and losses. The top buckles have a lot of wear as well. The interior bottoms have a lot of wear as well. Please see all pics as they are part of the description.
I ship FedEx to street addresses in the continental USA only (no PO boxes please). Free shipping on the rare Gokey boots.
I'm still ticked these bad boys don't fit me. If they did, you'd never see them. Not with that snakeskin look. So bad, and so good.
