Regular priceSale price
Here we have a rare 19th century broadside poster detailing the biggest list of buzzkill taxes in US history. They covered every angle you can think of. Rectifiers, liquor, malt liquors, leaf tobacco, stills, cigars, as well as peddlers of tobacco on horses. I mean, they cover every way of feeling good. Imagine hanging this on the wall of your brewery, distillery or bar....and if someone complains about the price of the drink, just point to the broadside. Not only does it look great, but the history will find use in many ways.
The rare original broadside comes out of the Minnesota Historical Society archives. The piece was created in 1877.
The rare broadside poster measures 18 1/2" tall by 12" wide. There is evidence of age and use everywhere. There are hammer holes in the appropriate places for attaching the piece to a wall. Please see all pics as they are part of the description.
