Here we have a surreal watercolor painting of an army of blockhead suits ready to march into battle or a giant computer chip. Given that the artwork was created in 1982, I can't help but think of the growing wave of Apple and Microsoft influencing the artist. Speaking of intricacies, I can't get over the breadth of scope on this beauty. The shadowing alone is wrecking my senses. Unreal surrealism.
The vintage surrealist watercolor came out of a Twin Cities estate. However, I'm not sold on this beauty being a local piece. Feels coastal or European to me. The signature looks like "Janek" but the identity is still a mystery.
The framed watercolor measures just over 26" wide by 21" tall. No glass was used in the original framing. The exposed artwork measures just over 21" wide by 17" tall. There are a few small puncture spots (see pics). The vintage framing and matting is worn. Replacing it may not be a bad idea. Please see all pics as they are part of the description.
I ship FedEx to street addresses in the continental USA only (no PO boxes). Free shipping on the technological surrealist painting.
I've never seen a watercolor like this one. Eat your heart out, Silicon Valley.
