1950s Folk Art Wood Carving of Blonde Bombshell in Bikini
Here we have a rare folk art sculpture of a blonde bombshell from the 1940s or 50s. Think of Marilyn striking a pose....c'mon, you gotta try. Well, a mystery folk artist back in the day couldn't shake the image, so here we go. No subtlety with this vintage beauty. I can't find another one with the vintage bikini get-up. When she's on your shelf or table, doing her thing, all is well. Jaws back up, fellas.
The vintage wood sculpture was made by some mystery artist from underground America. I don't see any indication of a signature anywhere. I'm open to any possible attribution.
The 1950s wood sculpture stands just under 7" tall (base and figure), 2" wide and 3" deep. There is slight wear from age throughout, especially near the, um, garment edges, and the left leg. The sculptures is quite light. Not sure the type of wood. Please see all pics as they are part of the description.
I ship FedEx to street addresses in the continental USA only ( no PO boxes). Free shipping on the bombshell sculpture.
The Underground strikes again. She has a power....all the power.
