1940s Motor City Speedway Program with Eddie Johnson

Here we have a cool Motor City Speedway program from the late 1940s, including a large photo print of Eddie Johnson on the inside cover. The inner pages provide great insight into the racing culture at the time, but for my money, I can't get over the wicked woodblock cover. Love it when they capture the motion and the grease. Makes me smile and grip the wheel.

The rare racing memorabilia comes out of a collector's estate in the Duluth Minnesota area. Based on the parts ads in the back, the program is likely from the late 1940s. On the cover you'll find an "Allied Printing" union label in bottom left corner.

The vintage racing program measures 10" tall by 8" wide. There is slight wear from age and storage. The inner pages are in the later stages of holding together. Please see all pics as they are part of the description.

I ship FedEx to street addresses in the continental USA only (no PO Boxes). Free shipping on the rare racing history.

Grip the wheel!
