1920s Linocut Mixed Media Artwork of Castle in the Hills | California
Here we have a mixed media linocut on paper of a castle on a hill through a view of skeleton trees. Now folks, this is a scene with a capital "S". Dracula's glowing castle burns the retinas. The detail and contrasts grip you tight as you observe the intense Gothic scene. The devil's in the details, and this artwork has detail in spades.
The rare mixed media linocut is monogrammed "RZ" in the lower right by the artist. The previous owner believes the print as created in California in the 1920s. The linocut artwork comes out of an art collector's estate in the Twin Cities.
The unframed artwork measures 5" tall by 7 1/2" wide. The print is stored loose with a white backing board. Please see all pics as they are part of the description.
I ship FedEx to street addresses in the continental USA only (no PO boxes). Free shipping on the rare Gothic artwork.
Dichotomy. Contrast. At its core, a screaming vision.
