Here we have a set of 12 hand made crazy neckties from the 1920s and 30s. The creator of these little gems lived in the northern Wisconsin. Apparently they were a completely self-sufficient homestead. She made the neckties for her husband, who was a school teacher. He was the talk of the town and the life of the swinging party down the line. I imagine there were some jitterbugs breaking out, hopefully outside of class.
The material of the vintage neckties varies. Some are made of cloth and some may be rayon. Not sure if any are silk?
The set of rare art deco ties measure between 55" and 60" in length. The widest spot at the base measures between 4-5". There are a few ties with visible discolorations (see pic). As mentioned above, these neckties were worn by this wild man. They are fresh out of the estate, never seeing the light of day, and not cleaned. I'll leave that up to you. Please see all pics as they are part of the description.
I ship FedEx to street addresses in the continental USA only (no PO boxes please). Free shipping on these vintage party ties.
