Here we have a rare 1920s broadside college poster detailing all the rules for the incoming freshman. Shocker, they go to ridiculous extremes. But first, the graphic of the co-eds putting the 1920s vibe out, and one even is even making sure people know what year it is. There is so much wicked typography and old timey designs to make your head spin. Dare I say some of the advice goes beyond convenience.
The rare Freshman poster comes out of an old Chicago estate. The poster was created in 1925. In the bottom left it’s stamped “Harry W. Steere, Jr.”
The rare broadside college poster measures 31 1/2" tall by 19" wide. The poster was heavily given the strict rules. There are fold marks. The broadside hasn’t been examined outside of the sealed sleeve. Please see all pics as they are part of the description.
I ship FedEx to street addresses in the continental only (no PO Boxes). Free shipping on the rare collegiate poster.
Don’t get wise.
