18th Century Malacca Cane with Ornate Brass Top and Ferrule

Here we have an amazing 18th century Malacca cane with an ornate brass cap. When you grab hold of this beauty and look a the long and patinated ferrule at the base, you can't help but imagine the top hat gent meandering down the way, getting a sturdy grip between the cobblestones. The patina is absolutely perfect, and tells a story that spans the centuries. It takes centuries to produce this type of patina.

The rare 1700s gentleman's cane comes out of the estate of an antique cane collector in Wisconsin. Based on research, the cane was likely made in the early 1700s.

The antique walking cane stands 38", and the diameter of the handle is about 7/8". As stated above, there is perfect patina everywhere. The brass ferrule has a million stories alone based on the wear. There is a small grain of the cane missing just above the brass ferrule. There also is a slight bend from years of use. Please see all pics as they are part of the description.

I ship FedEx to street addresses in the continental USA only (no PO boxes). Free shipping on the rare cane from the 1700s.

Centuries to produce the look everyone wants. And the one that you need. A brutal beauty.ma
