Yves Bady Dahdah Lithograph of Le Femme Infidel 1980s

This is a rare one, Here we have a limited edition lithograph by French pop art artist Yves Bady DahDah entitled "Le Femme Infidel." The nude subjects are doing something cosmic....um, yeah, I'm not going to describe it. The rare lithograph is signed by Bady and the print run is written in pencil (210/300). On the back is a description of the artist and the piece. I looked all over the net and I can't find another example. On his wiki page there are a couple other lithographs from the 80s that seem to be a similar tone.

Basically, this large print will generate a double if not a triple take. It's out there and definitely has a Heavy Metal magazine tone.

The framed French artwork measures 23" x 31". The exposed lithograph measures 19.5" x 27". The white part of the piece looks to be separate from the color image. The color image measures 17.5" x 21". The white part of the lithograph (backing?) has soiling spots throughout. Not sure what's going on but I'm hoping a paper conservationist can easily correct this part. The frame is chipped and has it's fair share of patina. The plastic has a few cracks in it. It deserves a new frame. The piece has not been viewed outside of the frame. Please see all pics as they are part of the description. The piece is being sold AS IS.

This listed artist is a big deal and his pieces sell for thousands. Because of the condition issues, I'm pricing it low.

Here's the artist bio from the back of the piece:

Born February 3, 1942 in Pointe-a-Pitre (Guadeloupe, French West Indies) where he spent his childhood, he came to Paris where he pursued a career as a painter. At the age of 22 he sold his first canvas ; exhibitions followed in Berne (Switzerland) and New York (USA). In 1979 he designed stage sets for French television. Today England, France, Germany and the USA vie for the work of this young symbolist painter. His faithful admirer Charles Aznavour said: I like Yves Bady's constant search for the truth; his truth!

I only ship to the continental USA. Please let me know if you have any questions.

Don't blush.
