WW2 Pinup Drawing of Woman in a Pose | Dated Jan 23 1944
Here we have a great wartime relic from a WW2 soldier letting his imagination run wild on a brief time of R & R. The woman in the vintage pinup drawing has one of the coolest poses, straight from the mind of this warrior who's also a gifted artist. I'm positive this artwork got plenty of attention amongst the crew.
The WW2 drawing is dated Jan 23, 1944. The artwork isn't signed so we're dealing with a mystery soldier artist. The drawing comes out of an old estate in Massachusetts.
The framed military drawing measures 11 1/2" wide by 14 1/2" tall. The exposed artwork measures about 8 1/2" by 10 1/2." The artwork looks great for the age. The frame isn't the highest quality and the reverse comes loose pretty easily. A new frame isn't a terrible idea. Please see all pics as they are part of the description.
