Here we have a WPA era charcoal drawing of a Modernist figure straight out of a Ridley Scott film. Blade Runner, Prometheus...you take your pick. Slick lines covering a boiling soul. The knife-point head will split a razor's edge. I can't get over the ominous shading throughout the centerpiece figure. Something's ready to go haywire, and I'm totally fine with it. Sometimes you just step aside and let the visual say the words.

The vintage Cubist style drawing is signed in the lower right corner by the artist Lloyd Stransky. He was a Minnesota artist in the 40s and 50s. I believe this piece was created in the late 1940s.

The framed artwork measures 17 1/2" tall by 13 1/2" wide. There is some discoloration in the upper left hand corner. On the reverse you will see the edges of the paper wrapped around the backing. This was how the piece was found. The frame has some wear. The plastic has some slight nicks and scratches. Please see all pics as they are part of the description.
