Vintage Varsity Sweater by East-Tenn | 1960s or 70s XXL
Here we have a vintage Varsity with a stitched number 82 right over the heart. Anything for the team! The sweater is likely affiliated with the University of Minnesota. It's at least an XL, if not an XXL (see measurements below). Probably made for an offensive lineman.
The vintage sweater was made by the East-Tenn company, and tag points to a Orlon Acrylic material.
Here are the measurements for sweater:
- Pit to Pit - 26 1/2" - Collar to bottom hem - 26 1/2" - Back collar to bottom hem - 25 1/2" - Neck collar - 11 1/2" across - Shoulder to wrist - 22 1/2" - Shoulder to end of wrist hem - 27"
The numbers on the sweater is fraying quite a bit. There is some slight fraying along the top collar and wrist hems. There are a couple small holes on the back of the right arm, closer to the wrist. Please see all pics as they are part of the description.
