Vintage Teeth Display by Trubyte New Hue | Unusual Salesman Sample

Here we have a vintage Trubyte New Hue teeth display kit with every chopper you can imagine. Three trays worth! The trays come complete with a metal filing holder with a very cool deco designed decal. Imagine the salesman walking in and throwing all these tinted fake teeth in your face. "You had me at 'molar!'" It'd be entertaining at least.

I believe the kit was created from the 40s or 50s. The piece comes out of a dental collection in the Twin Cities area.

Here are a few more details about each tray:

1. Square - Tapering tray
Check out the black and white facial images on this one. How much for the hair?! There is a vertical bubble in the cover of the top display. The bottom has one tooth missing int he Class 1 Square Moulds in the top right corner. There cardboard cover is bending up towards the bottom of the display.

2. Ovoid - Lower Anteriors tray
Another couple wicked faces. There is some plastic crinkles in the corners of the top display, along with a horizontal bubble on the lower right side. The bottom cardboard cover is rising along the edges.

3. 33 Posteriors - 20 Posteriors tray
Cool chart on the top part of this display. There is plastic crinkling in the top right and lower left corners. The middle of the cardboard cover on the bottom part is curling upward. The outside cream colored plastic (Bakelite?) has a crack (see pic). I think it can be glued but I'll leave it up to you.

The vintage salesman kit measures 11 1/2" wide and deep, and just under 2 1/2" tall. There is a ring stain on the top of the outer case (see pic). Please see all pics as they are part of the description.
