Vintage Stetson T-Shirt - Never Steal a Stetson | Medium

Here we have a very subtle vintage cutoff shirt from the Stetson cowboy hat company. In bold letters we see "Never Steal a Stetson", and in a bold visual, you see exactly why. They weren't pulling any punches with this little square dance. They wanted to reiterate their dominance on the cowboy hat market, and I'm sure this campaign turned a few heads. I would have loved to be in that marketing meeting. "I have an idea."

The rare vintage shirt was made either in the 60s or 70s. The sleeves were cutoff back in the day, likely to show off the big guns. The color is a light, muted yellow with black print. There is no tag on the shirt. Based on the measurements, I think the shirt is a size Medium.

The cutoff Stetson shirt measures 21 1/2" across the chest and 26" from the top of the collar to the bottom hem. From the bottom collar the hem measures 22". The sleeves measure.....0". The sleeves were obviously removed by scissors back in the day. Welcome to the gun show! There is a discoloration spot below the square image, to the right (see pic).
