Here we a striking scratchboard art piece of a nude woman. The piece is signed with initials (P.A.S.) and dated 1953. You have to love the contrast of the black and white, and the variety of shapes the artist used to create the shading. Very deco and very cool. The artist is still a mystery.
The nude artwork measures 9" x 5". The top corners are experience slight color loss from the previous framing. There is also a slight loss in the lower left corner. There are slight vertical streaks when you reflect the light a certain way. I think this has something to do with the material they used to slice into. I may be wrong. The piece curves from the age of the thick material of the base. (It's not as thick as artist board, but it's not paper either.) This piece will look even more amazing when framed.
I ship to the continental USA only. Free shipping on this piece.
This one's a four alarm fire. It's vintage, and it's smokin'.
