Here we have a vintage mezuzah with text inscribed on vellum from an old estate in southern Minnesota. The vellum definitely has a sacred feel as it is very taut and recoils into the natural rolled position. Then you have the old mysterious writing in ink on the outer container. I have no idea about the age. I listed 1950s because it's in the middle. Very well may be earlier. I'm really not sure.
The mezuzah case measures just over 6". The vellum measures just under 5" wide and 6" tall. The vellum has several stains. Please see all pics as they are part of the description.
