Vintage Caution Railroad Sign - Black and White Painted Metal

Here we have the perfect vintage sign to set next to your super hot decor item. It's a black and white "Caution" sign from an old railroad station. The story is there were two caution signs hanging on each side of a railroad overhang...warning you to duck in case you were riding on the top of the train. I'm guessing it's from the first part of the 20th century.

Now the vintage railroad sign has a completely new life because of the nuclear corrosion on the left. The nuke got the poor "C!"  Imagine setting this next to a super hot item or image on the wall. For the love of Pete, it's so hot it melted the "C."

Then you have the killer white block font on the black background. I love the look. So many stories to tell.

The metal sign measures 8" tall and 20" wide. There are four fastening holes. The corrosion lives up to the name. Lots of cool fry spots and flaking. There is wicked patina everywhere. The sign has good weight to it. Please see all pics as they are part of the description.

I ship to the continental USA only. Free shipping on the old metal sign.

Aution! Your wish is my command.
