Here we have a vintage Ajusco a task lamp with an unusual insulated shade. It has adjustable knuckles everywhere. Mount it to the wall and this beast will lunge at you from a variety of angles. The metallic design and finish will give chrome addicts a heart attack. I'm pretty sure I saw this in Terminator 2...you know, that one part with all the chrome.
The industrial task lamp is a later Ajusco model. The light has the embossed Ajusco stamp and a manufacturers sticker (see pics).
The machinist lamp was found in rural Wisconsin, home state of the Ajusco company. It has evidence of age but that's a pretty shiny finish for a vintage task lamp.
The vintage light measures about 22" high at natural height. Standing straight up it measures 30" tall. The diameter of the insulated shade is about 6 1/2". There is slight surface wear throughout. The exterior of the shade has some slight discoloration, as well as near the knuckles. The cord measures 84". The light is in working order. The bulb is not included with the light.
