Rare Political Lithograph Poster by Rich Kees | 1980s Minnesota

Here we have a very rare offset lithograph political poster by Minnesota artist Rich Kees, circa 1985. The colors on this beauty will blaze you from across the room. Everything's perfectly placed with the third dimension jumping right out at you.

The title of the lithograph poster is titled "No Trespassing" and was created by Minneapolis artist Rich Kees in 1982. This piece was on views in the "Freedom of the Press: Posters from Progressive Print Shops, 1960s - 1990s," which was organized by the Center for the Study of Political Graphics in Los Angeles, California, October 8 - November 9, 2018. Here's the reference page.

The rare political lithograph is also part of the Martha and Robert Fogelman Galleries of Contemporary Art in Memphis, Tennessee.

And let's not forget the immortal Woody:

As I went walking I saw a sign there.
And on the sign it said "No Trespassing:,
But on the other side it didn't say nothing,
That side was made for you and me."

Woody Guthrie "This Land is Your Land"

The rare offset lithograph measures 22" tall by 17" wide. There is a repaired tear along the middle center border (see pics, front and reverse). There also is some slight discoloration along the cream borders. But nothing can take away from the blazing colors and message. Please see all pics as they are part of the description.

I ship FedEx to street addresses in the continental USA only (no PO boxes). If you live in the Twin Cities metro area, I can deliver the important piece of our local history. If not local, the lithograph is be shipped rolled in a poster tube. Free shipping on the rare political poster.

Signs, signs, everywhere is signs. Imagine it framed. Bongo.
